Family dinner @ Kim's Place (JoO Chiat!)

as usual, saturdays night ; always reserved for family dinner with aunts and grandparents.. its part of me since those growing up days when my Ah Pa will use different ways to emphasize how important family ties are~ this is one of the ways! to meet up as much as we can, to put aside our busy hectic daily individual lives.. it wouldnt take long for just a dinner every weekend..

though most of the time not every single one of my dad's siblings' family will join us.. but when comes to any of our birthdays, all are sure to join for a good feast!

see, we celebrate everyone's birthday together, from my grandparents to parents, aunts, uncles, cousins.. how many times do we celebrate birthdays in a yr? how many times do i feast? one average once every month! that explains my size. hahaha..

today was with Da Gu & Grandparents!

at one of our usual hangouts - Joo Chiat, Kim's place! they serve pretty good hokkien fried prawn mee, not sure if most have tried it~ Glenn intro u guys to good food! now my turn to take u guys ard for good food too! but mostly in the east lah.. hee. east-sider!

this is one of their newer branch, used to only sell prawn mee, but u know lah, nowadays ppl want more variety, so they start to establish themselves as a seafood place too!

MUST TRY : CHEESE CRABS! and of course their signature prawn mee~

and of course, like always, i did enjoy that dinner. sinful though! but aiya next week then start my diet - IM SERIOUS. lol :X

anyway got a call frm my in-charge frm IMF! he say i dont have to report to my hotel on monday, cause the info desk at my hotel is been cancelled
